The Capedee Villas Complex is situated
at Pomos a small, quiet, attractive
seaside fishing village built on a slope
between the sea and the wooded foothills
of the Paphos mountains. There is a
variety of sea food restaurants in the
area, grocery stores, several sandy
coves for swimming and a small, recently
constructed fishing harbour. There is
also a popular jazz festival organised
every year. Pomos built in a beautiful
area of deserted beaches and wild
coastline with the Paphos forest and
foothills as a backdrop.

Here, in Pomos, has been found the Idol
of Pomos, a cross-shaped idol dating
back to the Cypriot chalcolithic period,
some 3000 years B.C. The idol is a
characteristic example of prehistoric
art of Cyprus, representing the island’s
antiquity, culture and civilization and
it decorates the one and two euro coins
of Cyprus.
Approximate distance from Pomos village
to Paphos airport 45 minutes, to Paphos
city 40 minutes, to Polis town 20
minutes, to Latchi harbour 25 minutes
and to the nearest restaurant only 5
minutes.
